ABOUT US

Are you wondering how West Coast Pool & Spa came about? Well let me tell you! Born and raised in Ontario, my parents had always dreamed of me becoming a chiropractor. I knew that being a chiropractor wasn’t for me and decided not to pursue that career path. My dad was a pilot for Air Canada and in addition, also owned two pool and spa companies in Ontario. That is likely where the initial idea came from.

It was 1974 and I was unsure of what my future was going to hold, so, I decided to buy a school bus and travel across Canada with my dog Daphne. The road trip from Ontario to Vancouver was incredible, I mean, how could you not enjoy that? However, once I arrived in Vancouver, I knew that following in my dads footsteps and opening a pool and spa company is what I was destined to do. That is when West Coast Pool & Spa (then called West Coast Pool Service & Supplies Ltd.) was incorporated.

Starting West Coast Pool & Spa from the back of a school bus with my dog as the only helper definitely had its challenges, but looking back now, it was more than worth it. We have now been in the industry for over 40 years and have thousands of happy customers all over Metro Vancouver. I am proud to say we are completely Canadian owned and operated!

We offer maintenance service for both residential and commercial pools and spas, as well as pool repair and inspections. I can confidently declare that we are specialists in the industry.  By investing in ongoing training, we ensure our qualified technicians are the most up-to-date in industry knowledge. I truly believe that before customers can love a company, the employees have to love it first.

We have a retail store that is located in South Surrey and features poolside accessories, maintenance supplies, parts, equipment, and chemicals.

We are here for you and your pool & spa needs all year round. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Wishing you all the best.
